Features
Tapered bags are used when there is not enough room for a double convoluted bag. They will support a 2500lb front or rear axle. Brackets should be only tack-welded in place until you are SURE of the position and bag travel. Tack-weld, mount the bags on the brackets, then, using a Schrader fill valve, air the bag up and confirm that the bag does not rub, and the bracket is at the right height. The height of the bracket determines the "Sweetspot" for the best ride height. If the bag takes too much pressure to lift to your ride height, then either the bracket is too short, or the bag is not large enough in diameter. ALWAYS install the largest diameter bag possible, even if you have to trim your frame or install Spring Pocket Eliminators. A bag should never require more than 120psi to lift your front end. If it does, you are doing something wrong.
